Over the last couple of weeks I've been sharing a few videos on YouTube showing off some improvised guitar based ambient. This sort of music is something I play a lot when I pick up my guitar and start messing around with my loop pedal but I've never really shared that side of my musical output until now.

I'm very methodical when it comes to the music that I usually share with you and find myself sitting on tracks tweaking them over and over, dragging the compositional process out over the course of months or years sometimes. I wanted to do something different with this so rather than agonise over the finer details, I recorded two long ambient pieces of music live in one take each. There's a couple of mistakes in there and both tracks are a little rough around the edges but I'm holding my perfectionist tendencies at bay this time.
